By industry 4.0 or smart industry we mean: producing smarter and more efficiently. A trend that is particularly prevalent within the manufacturing industry. Increased product development and industrial automation ensure that IT and industry are moving further and further towards each other. But these movements also have their negative effect.

Techno-Stress

Despite technological progress making work easier, it also creates new forms of stress, we speak of Techno-Stress, and can increase the workload and overload of employees. Employers should respond to this and provide the right involvement and guidance for their workers.

People-Oriented Digitalization

New tasks require new skills, and therefore training, engagement and clarity. Often operators do not receive training when new technology is introduced. However, among workers who did receive it, we see higher autonomy, feel better at work and experience less uncertainty.

At Azumuta we take a different approach. The focus is on people-oriented digitalization, so we offer a software platform that allows simple work instructions for workers, but can also form one integrated system.

Digital Work Instructions

Technology should be at the service of the employees and not the other way around. That is why it seems better to start with automating the current work processes, that way there is a chance that you eliminate chaos (and reduce Techno-Stress).

That is why we are going to work with Azumuta on the basis of product-specific and interactive work instructions as a basis for the introduction of changes in production companies.

On the one hand we want to make it as easy as possible for the companies to integrate new software, on the other hand we want to make it as easy as possible for the operators to carry out work instructions during production.

Standard work instructions are kept and managed in a structured way with Azumuta with the necessary visual support (photo, video, flowcharts, etc.). But also adjustments and feedback happen in a user-friendly and controlled way so that there is continuous improvement and learning.

In addition, the learning system in Azumuta serves as a motivator for the operators to keep the improvement process alive. Also the planning and execution of 5S audits, checklists and control points lead to a permanent improvement of the processes, quality and safety.

The operator is the central focus at Azumuta. We want to facilitate their work with our software and keep the balance between digitalization and their humanity.

Manufacturing companies will only have a future if people remain a central factor in production. Why? Because human beings are the most flexible machines employers have.
