Effective communication with employees has been particularly important in recent months. Office workers had to switch to working from home, engineers and technicians were forced to leave their work and projects behind remotely, and production workers had to continue working in shifts and under special measures or not.
Leadership and management skills were scrutinized. They were expected to start creating communication plans that ensured both the safety and health of their employees. They also had to simultaneously keep their employees informed, motivated and productive.
