How to Create a Work Instruction on the Quality Management Module

Creating a work instruction on the Quality Management module follows mostly the same procedures as creating work instructions on other modules. Here are the steps:

How to Create a Folder

Before creating work instructions and article categories in Azumuta, it might be a good idea to create a folder first. A folder allows you to group multiple article categories in one location, making it easier for you to manage your work instructions. Here’s how to make a folder:

  1. Click on “Quality Management” in the homepage sidebar.
  2. Click on “Quality Procedures”.
  3. Click on the yellow plus button on the bottom right of the screen.
  4. Click on “Create folder”.
  5. Fill in the available fields (only the folder name field is mandatory – the rest are optional).
  6. Click on “Add”.

How to Create an Article Category

One of the special features of the Quality Management module is the ability to create an article category.

Besides housing work instructions related to a product, an article category is also the basis of creating articles. In addition, an article category can also be used to create product orders.

  1. Click on “Quality Management” in the homepage sidebar.
  2. Click on “Quality Procedures”.
  3. Click on the yellow plus button.
  4. Click on “Create article category”.
  5. Insert the data on the existing fields (only the article category name is mandatory).
  6. Click on “Add”.
