How to Create and Edit an Article Category (via Azumuta on Web)

How to Create an Article Category

  1. Click on Quality Management in the homepage sidebar.
  2. Click on Quality Procedures.
  3. Click on the yellow plus button.
  4. Click on “Create article category”.
  5. Insert the data on the existing fields (only the article category name is mandatory).
  6. Click on “Add”.

Note: An article category can house multiple articles and work instructions.

How to Edit an Article Category

  1. Click on Quality Management in the homepage sidebar.
  2. Click on Quality Procedures.
  3. Click on the three-dot icon next to the article category that you would like to edit.
  4. Do the desired edits.
  5. When you’re done with the edits, click on “Save”.

How to Delete an Article Category

  1. Click on Quality Management in the homepage sidebar.
  2. Click on Quality Procedures.
  3. Click on the three-dot icon next to the article category that you would like to delete.
  4. Click on “Delete article category”.
  5. Type in the article category’s name.
  6. Click on “Delete permanently”.

Note: Besides typing it out manually, you can also copy the article category name and then paste it on the confirmation field, as shown below:

How to Archive an Article Category

  1. Click on Quality Management in the homepage sidebar.
  2. Click on Quality Procedures.
  3. On the side panel, click on the article category that you would like to archive.
  4. Click on the three-dot icon next to the article category that you would like to archive.
  5. Click on “Archive article category”.

How to See the List of Archived Article Category and How to Un-archive an Article Category

  1. Click on Quality Management in the homepage sidebar.
  2. Click on Quality Procedures.
  3. Click on the three-dot icon next to Quality Procedures.
  4. Tick the box next to “Show archived”. Then, click on an empty space to close the menu.
  5. There, you will see the list of archived article categories.
  6. To unarchive an article category, simply click the three-dot icon next to the article category that you would like to unarchive.
  7. Click on “Unarchive”.

As has been previously mentioned, an article category can house multiple work instructions.

How to Reorder Work Instructions in an Article Category

In Azumuta it is possible to rearrange the order of work instructions within an article category.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Click on “Quality Management” on the homepage sidebar.
  2. Click on “Quality Procedures” underneath.
  3. Click on the targeted article category.
  4. Hover your cursor to the drag icon (left of an existing how instruction).
  5. Click, hold, and drag the work instruction to the desired place, and drop to move it.
