What Is the Image Library? #
All images that have been taken using Azumuta (e.g., taken by an operator on the shop floor using their tablet) or manually uploaded to Azumuta are stored in the image library. With this library, you can manage your images and use them in your work instructions.

- Navigate to any work instruction.
- Select any work instruction step and open it.
- Click on the “Visuals” tab.
- If there’s no image visual page yet, then click on “Add page”. If there’s already an image visual page, please proceed to step No.6.
- Click on “Images”.
- After the image visual page has been added, click on “Image”.
How Do You Add an Image to the Image Library? #
There are 2 possible ways to add an image to the image library:
- Added from the app (e.g., taken by an operator on the shop floor using their tablet/smartphone or uploaded from their tablet/smartphone gallery)
- Added manually to the image library by clicking on “Upload images”, as shown below:
How to Search for an Image on the Image Library #
There are several tools that you can use to search for an image on the image library:
- You can filter images based on their label
- You can search for images based on their description (image file name)
- You can filter images based on their upload date
- You can filter images based on the user(s) who uploaded them
How to Edit the Description and Label of an Image in the Image Library #
You can add or edit the image description and the image label(s) of any image in the image library. An image description helps you to find the image on the search bar, while an image label helps you to identify an image based on its characteristics and uses.
To edit, simply click on an image on the image library, and edit it, as explained in the image below:
You can also add multiple labels to an image by using a comma sign in between the labels (“,”). There should also be a single space between each coma and each label.
For example, we would like to use 2 labels for an image; “AzuWash Washing Machine” and “mechanical components”. Thus, we wrote:
AzuWash Washing Machine,mechanical component
We don’t use any space in between the comma sign.
This is how we wrote it on the image library:
