How to Add, Edit, and Delete an Equipment

How to Add a New Equipment to Your Workspace #

1. Click on “Resources” under “Management”.
2. Click on “Equipment”.
3. Click on the yellow plus button.
4. Fill in the available fields (only the image and the description fields are mandatory).
5. Click on “Add”.

 

Besides uploading equipment to your workspace, you can also use our pre-made equipment by clicking on the catalog, as shown below:

 

How to Add a New Equipment Category #

It’s a good idea to organize your equipment into several categories. That way, it’ll be easier for you to locate your equipment should you ever need to use it.

1. Click on “Resources” under “Management”.
2. Click on “Equipment”.
3. Click on the plus icon next to existing equipment categories (if there are existing equipment categories already) or next to “All equipment” (if there are no existing equipment categories yet).
4. Type in the name of the equipment category.
5. Click on “Add”.

 

To edit or delete an equipment category, simply click on the three-dot icon next to the equipment category’s name, as shown in the image below:

 

How to Open the Equipment Editor #

1. Click on “Resources” under “Management”.
2. Click on “Equipment”.
3. Click on the three-dot icon next to the equipment that you wish to edit.
4. Click on “Edit equipment”.

 

Here’s what you can edit on the equipment editor:

1. The General tab, where you can edit an equipment’s main attributes.
2. The Properties tab, where you can manage an equipment’s properties.
3. Click to change the equipment’s image.
4. Edit the equipment’s description here.
5. Edit the equipment’s category here.
6. Choose whether the equipment is safety or quality-related (or both, or neither).
7. Edit the equipment’s tag(s) here.
8. Add attachment(s) here.
9. When you’re done with your edits, click on “Save”. However, if you would like to cancel your edits, click on “Cancel”.

 

How to Delete an Equipment from Your Workspace #

1. Click on “Resources” under “Management”.
2. Click on “Equipment”.
3. Click on the three-dot icon next to the equipment that you wish to delete.
4. Click on “Delete equipment”.
5. Click on “Delete”.
