You can enter the recommended duration for an operator to complete an instruction step under the “Time Study” functionality. This functionality allows you to standardize the time needed to complete a certain work instruction step.
After you’ve set up a time study on a work instruction step, you can check the actual time spent by an operator on that particular instruction step by seeing it on a work instruction recording. That way, you can see whether that operator complies with your recommended duration for that instruction step – or they spent too little/too much time.
This is a simple yet crucial feature. If an operator spends too little time on a particular instruction step, it might compromise the quality of their work. While if an operator spends too much time on a certain instruction step, it might delay your production process. That’s why it’s important to check the pace of every work instruction step using the Time Study feature.
Note: This feature only works on the Quality Management module, the Audits & Digital Checklists module, and the Skill Matrix & Trainings module. You can reach us through sales@azumuta.com to learn more
