Azumuta’s approval flow now includes a unique feature that allows you to request a specific action to be performed if an edit was made to an instruction step with certain symbol(s). Actions that can be requested with this feature include:
- Asking for an approval signature from a user/user group.
- Asking an operator to fill out a checklist.
- Asking an operator to perform a certain task.
For example, let’s say that an instruction step contains a symbol about electrocution hazard. Thus, before approving any edit to that particular instruction step, it would be wise to first consult and ask for the approval of the plant’s Electrical Engineer. That way, the plant’s Electrical Engineer can check whether the edits comply with the existing safety standards – and take the necessary interventions if needed.
This feature helps you to automate your workflow, increase the safety of your shopfloor, as well as ensure that changes to instruction steps with critical symbols are always reviewed & addressed sufficiently.
