What Is “Exporting” and “Importing” a Work Instruction? #
“Exporting” a work instruction means downloading a work instruction from your Azumuta workspace to your device. Afterward, this exported work instruction can be “imported” (uploaded) to another location. Another location can mean another folder, another module, or even another workspace.
In a nutshell, exporting and importing a work instruction is like “copying” a work instruction and then “pasting” it into another location.
This feature is highly useful if you’re going to use a single work instruction across multiple locations in your workspace. That way, you don’t have to create that same instruction multiple times. You’ll only need to export it to your device, and then import it to the desired locations.
Note: The ability to export a work instruction to another workspace is not a default feature for most Azumuta platforms. If you would like to have this feature, please contact us through support@azumuta.com
