What Is the Sidebar Settings? #
The sidebar settings are one of the main tools for configuring a planning tab. In this webpage, we will explain how to access and use them.
How to Access the Sidebar Settings #
Whenever you’re creating a new planning tab (regardless of the module), the sidebar settings will automatically pop up on your screen.
Meanwhile, this is how to get to the sidebar settings on an already existing planning tab:
- Click on “Audits & Digital Checklists” on the homepage sidebar.
- Click on “Planning”.
- Select the targeted planning tab.
- Click on the three-dot icon.
- Click on “Configure sidebar”.
Sidebar Settings: The Basics #
Here’s an explanation of the basic Sidebar settings:
- Click to choose what the planning tab will display. The available options differ between modules. We will explain further about the available options for this module in the next guide section, under “Sidebar Settings under the Audits & Digital Checklists Module”.
- If you tick this box, then the planning tab will display contents from all existing modules and folders in your Azumuta user account. We recommend you to leave this box unticked (unless you’re planning to use only one planning tab for your factory – which we don’t recommend either).
- If you click this, you can choose whether the planning tab will only display contents from one or several audit tags. A tag can be assigned when creating an audit or when editing an edit. Click to learn how to create an audit or how to edit an audit.
- When you’re done configuring the sidebar settings, click on “Save” to apply the configured settings. The sidebar settings will automatically close.
- Click to close the sidebar settings without saving anything (no changes will be applied to the planning tab as well).
Special Sidebar Settings under the Audits & Digital Checklists Module #
Besides the basic sidebar settings, there are also special configuration options that can only be made on planning tabs that were made under the Audits & Digital Checklists Module:
- If you choose this option, then the planning tab sidebar will focus on all work instructions that are classified as an audit work instruction.
- If you choose this option, then the planning tab sidebar will focus on all work instructions that fall under the selected article categories/folders.
- If you choose this option, then the planning tab sidebar will display the names of the audit executors. Moreover, each dot (event) on the planning tab will represent an audit work instruction that was executed/will be executed by each employee.
