We will divide the sidebar into 3 sections:

The Search Bar & Homepage Button #
- The search bar: The search bar is the fastest way to look for something in Azumuta, whether it’s work instructions, images, articles, or any other items.
- The homepage button: Use this button to navigate instantly to the homepage.
The Modules & Add-Ons #
This section contains the Azumuta modules and add-ons that you currently have access to.
- The Freely Consultable Work Instructions module: As the name suggests, you can create visually intuitive & interactive work instructions with this module. However, unlike the three other modules, no recordings will be stored. Thus, we recommend you to use this module along with our other modules as well.
- The Quality Management module: This module serves as the backbone of any factory’s production activities. You can manage & monitor your plant’s product orders, as well as monitor all current & past production-related data from this module.
- The Audits & Digital Checklists module: Use this module as the one-stop tool for all of your audit needs. With this module, you can plan, execute, and keep track of audits, as well as access any past audit data.
- The Skill Matrix & Trainings module: This module is a helpful tool to oversee your human resources. You can create skill matrices, organize training activities, and manage your employees’ competencies with this module.
- The Dashboards add-on: Our dashboards provide a real-time, comprehensive view of all important key performance indicators from your shop floor in a visually appealing manner. Thus, you’ll have a complete situational awareness of your plant with just a single glance at your screen.
- The Continuous Improvement add-on: With this add-on, your operators can submit a ticket whenever they spot any issue on the shop floor. In turn, an admin can follow up on this ticket, and take the necessary measures to solve this issue. This add-on is a handy tool for rapid problem detection & solving.

Management #
This section contains the general settings and utilities to support your modules and add-ons.
- Variants: Use this menu to manage your workspace’s variants. A variant is a version of a product with different specifications from the standard version of the product (e.g., a television with different cable plug types, as they will be sold in different countries). In Azumuta, you can customize work instructions for each variant, allowing the use of a single instruction set for multiple product versions by specifying which steps apply to all or specific variants.
- Resources: Here, you can manage your workspace’s resources (parts, equipment, and symbols – visual elements that can be added to an instruction step.). These resources can be used to promote compliance and minimize possible non-conformities on your shop floor.
- Users: In this menu, you can manage the users & user groups in your workspace.
- Devices: See the list of devices that are connected to your workspace and their configuration options here.
- Peripherals: Use this menu to connect a peripheral (an external device such as a printer, a digital torque wrench, or a thermometer) to your workspace and adjust its configurations.
- Settings: This menu contains the general settings of your workspace.
