What Is the Quality Management Module? #
Azumuta’s Quality Management module is your main companion in overseeing all aspects of production in your plant.
Each individual item that’s being produced in your plant has its own digital twin in Azumuta – known as a product order. You can create a product order manually or automatically based on your ERP system’s input.
Each product order contains work instructions that must be executed by your operators in order to create this item.
As an admin, you can create, monitor, and manage product orders in real-time. By accessing the product order list, you can see all important forms related to the manufacturing process of that item, including:
- The production status of that item.
- The variants and parameters linked to that product order.
- The answer to product checks on that product order (accessible on the work instruction reports on that product order). To increase the precision of your product checks, be sure to integrate peripheral devices into your Azumuta platform – we offer a wide range of hardware integration options.
- The name of the operators that worked on a product order (accessible on the work instruction reports on that product order).
- The date & time of every single step of the production process (accessible on the work instruction reports on that product order).
- The time spent by operators on every single step of the production process (accessible on Time Study and the work instruction reports on that product order).
- Issues related to that product order (if any).
All of these data are recorded and saved within your Azumuta workspace. Thus, whenever you need any of these data in the future (e.g., for certification purposes or for product recalls), you can access them with just a few clicks.
All of these work instruction reports are automatically generated by Azumuta. However, you can also create your own custom-designed reports by using our docx report feature. Simply input the docx report with the desired formulas, upload it to Azumuta, and our platform will automatically fill these customized reports for you.
Your plant manufactures products in large quantities, and you’d prefer to create product orders in bulk? No worries! You can create batch orders instead of product orders. Each batch order can easily contain multiple product orders. That way, you can also monitor and finish multiple product orders simultaneously.
Why Should You Use This Module? #
- Real-time visibility: Digital tracking provides instant access to the status of orders, allowing you to monitor all product orders and batch orders on one platform – from the comfort of your desk. This real-time visibility helps you to remain in the loop at all times and allows you to respond to any issue in a flash.
- Unparalleled accuracy: Digital systems minimize the risk of human error in order processing, tracking, and reporting. This ensures that every information is accurate, reducing the likelihood of mistakes that could harm your daily business activities.
- Scalability: This module helps you to handle the fluctuation of customer orders – no matter how big they are. This scalability is essential for maintaining efficiency and managing production resources – as customer demands rise and fall over time.
- Keep your customers updated: With digital tracking, your customers can receive timely updates on their orders. This leads to higher customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Compliance and internal reporting: This module automatically generates a report for each product order/batch order – which can be used to fulfill regulatory compliance, audits, or internal review needs. This makes it easier to meet regulatory requirements and maintain transparency on the product or batch level – which are often mandatory in the pharmaceutical and food & beverage industries.
- Resolving defects & deviations quickly: Having digital product orders & batch orders makes resolving defects and deviations a walk in the park – as everything is documented & timestamped.
- And many other use cases.
