In Azumuta, an operator can pin a Module, a Folder, or an Article Category on their device’s screen. Generally, an item is pinned because it’s often used.
Or, if a device is assigned to one workstation (let’s say it’s called workstation A), then it’s also a good idea to pin items that are related to workstation A only. Thus, users won’t mistakenly execute work instructions that are meant for workstation B, workstation C, and so forth.
As an admin, you can take a step further. You can configure a device, where whenever a user account logins using that device, their screen will automatically redirect to the first pinned item on that device.
Here’s how to use this feature:
- Click on “Devices” under “Management”.
- Next to the device that you would like to edit, click on the three-dot icon.
- Click on “Edit device”.
- Tick the box next to “Go to first pinned screen when logging in”
- Click on “Save”.
