Issues always automatically proceed to the next column within an improvement board if there are no outstanding actions (e.g., signature requests, checklists to fill, tasks to execute, etc.). There are two possibilities for why there are no outstanding actions remaining within a column:
- All of the required actions have been completed.
- No actions were added to that column in the first place.
This update adds a toggle, which, if activated, ensures that issues won’t automatically proceed to the next column if possibility No.2 is the case.
That way, issues won’t be automatically closed without ever being reviewed by anyone in your workspace just because there are no actions that have been added yet to your improvement flow.
This toggle can be accessed in each transition menu on the Advanced tab when editing an improvement flow.
